brew: cum să ștergeți versiunea învechită a pachetului

Comanda dorită este cleanup – rulează brew cleanup va elimina pachetele care sunt pe disc, dar nu mai sunt instalate.

> brew help cleanup brew cleanup [--prune=days] [--dry-run] [-s] [formulae]: For all installed or specific formulae, remove any older versions from the cellar. In addition, old downloads from the Homebrew download-cache are deleted. If --prune=days is specified, remove all cache files older than days. If --dry-run or -n is passed, show what would be removed, but do not actually remove anything. If -s is passed, scrubs the cache, removing downloads for even the latest versions of formulae. Note downloads for any installed formulae will still not be deleted. If you want to delete those too: rm -rf $(brew --cache)

Am un regim de luni dimineață de:

brew update brew upgrade brew cleanup 

Asta mă aduce la curent cu Homebrew, apoi toate din preparatele mele instalate și apoi eliberează spațiul pe disc eliminând preparatele vechi care nu mai sunt referite. Pentru preparatele pe care trebuie să le păstrez la o anumită versiune, folosesc brew pin pentru a le menține acolo, astfel încât să pot rula acest lanț simplu, cu trei comenzi, pentru a actualiza tot restul în jurul pachetelor fixate .

Nu este un răspuns, dar prea lung pentru un comentariu, acesta este codul pe care îl folosesc ca regim de păstrare prepararea mea actualizată:

Am salvat-o în ~/.bash_profile, astfel încât să o pot apela de la Terminal ca nume al funcției din mers.

Comentarii

• Cel puțin începând cu versiunea 1.5.1, brew cask update este dezactivat. Error: Calling 'brew cask update' is disabled! Use 'brew update' instead.
