Il modo in cui EhBASIC gestisce input / output è molto semplice. Quando vuole scrivere un carattere sulla console, scrive il byte nella posizione di memoria $ F001. EhBASIC esegue il polling del valore in quella posizione finché non è diverso da zero, il che gli consente di sapere che il byte è un input da tastiera valido. Ecco perché se non ci sono più input da leggere, lemulatore dovrebbe restituire zero lì. EhBASIC girerà su di esso fino alla successiva chiave valida quando sta cercando un input.
Se non azzeri quel valore dopo aver letto lultimo valore della chiave, verrà ripetuto come se stavi tenendo premuto il tasto, quindi fai attenzione a farlo correttamente!

Un emulatore MOS 6502 in Haskell. Le caratteristiche includono:
- implementazione accurata al bit, inclusa la gestione sottile del registro P e il wrapping della pagina durante lindicizzazione e lindirizzamento indiretto
- IO mappato in memoria, con rilevamento dello spin loop (quindi la CPU host non lo fa peg in attesa di input)
- interrompi rilevamento (salta / salta a se stesso)
- CPU implementata esattamente in 200 righe & 6502 caratteri di codice
- Limplementazione della CPU è monade allo stato puro
Questa è una versione un po da golf di unimplementazione completa (con più funzionalità) che ho fatto per questa sfida che io ” Pubblicherò più tardi. Nonostante il golf, il codice è ancora semplice. Lunica caratteristica mancante conosciuta è la modalità BCD (in arrivo …)

Ho iniziato questo progetto creando un foglio di calcolo di istruzioni quando stavo imparando per la prima volta sulla CPU. Mi sono reso conto che potevo usare questo foglio di calcolo per risparmiarmi un po di digitazione. Lho trasformato in una tabella di file di testo che lemulatore carica per aiutare a contare i cicli e per un facile output di disassemblaggio.

- Grazie @StanStrum!Era un post SE anni fa su un emulatore 8086 che mi ha fatto interessare allemulazione e imparare come funzionavano effettivamente questi dispositivi. ‘ è stato molto divertente. Oltre a quanto sopra, ho un emulatore 8080 completo e uno 8086 che è stato completato per circa il 90%.
- Questo ‘ è fantastico, ‘ mi interessava creare un emulatore e / o un linguaggio di programmazione di medio livello, ma non ho ‘ il tempo, la pazienza o lintelletto per farlo
